Service Agreement

The Guiding Grove provides a supportive, judgment free space where you can ask questions, explore your options, prepare for different birth scenarios, and feel more confident navigating your experience. By purchasing a service from The Guiding Grove, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

1. Services

The Guiding Grove provides virtual, non clinical birth education, preparation, coaching, and support. Services include Birth Map Sessions and 1:1 Birth Coaching Services.

Sessions may include discussion of birth preferences, available options, real life birth scenarios, advocacy and communication strategies, questions to ask your healthcare team, and preparation for navigating different situations during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

2. Educational Support - Not Medical Care

All services provided by The Guiding Grove are educational and supportive in nature. They are not medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare professional.

The Guiding Grove does not diagnose medical conditions, interpret medical tests or results, prescribe medications, monitor pregnancy or labor, or make medical decisions on behalf of clients.

Information provided during sessions is intended to help you better understand your options, offer evidence based resources, and prepare for conversations with your healthcare team. You are encouraged to seek individualized medical advice from an appropriately licensed healthcare professional if needed.

3. Your Healthcare Decisions

You are responsible for your own healthcare decisions and for obtaining appropriate medical or other professional care.

The Guiding Grove does not direct clients to accept or refuse medical procedures, medications, interventions, or recommendations. Any information or education provided is intended to support informed conversations and personal decision making.

If you are experiencing an urgent or emergency situation, contact your healthcare provider, call emergency services, or seek immediate medical attention. The Guiding Grove is not an emergency service.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum experiences are unpredictable and can be affected by many factors outside anyone’s control.

The Guiding Grove does not guarantee or promise any particular pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, or postpartum outcome.

The purpose of these services is to provide education, preparation, support, and tools for navigating your experience; not to guarantee a specific outcome.

5. Scheduling

After completing your purchase, The Guiding Grove will contact you by email to arrange a mutually convenient time for your session.

Purchasing a service does not guarantee a specific date or time until the appointment has been confirmed. Sessions are scheduled based on mutual availability and are not automatically booked at the time of purchase.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, as well as missed appointments, are non refundable.

If an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact The Guiding Grove as soon as possible so the situation can be discussed.

7. Virtual Services

Services are provided virtually. You are responsible for having access to a suitable private space, reliable internet connection, and the technology necessary to participate in your session.

9. Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Services are intended for the individual who purchases them and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from The Guiding Grove.

10. Client Acknowledgment

By purchasing a service from The Guiding Grove, you acknowledge that you:

• Have read and reviewed this agreement;

• Understand that The Guiding Grove provides educational and supportive services, not medical care;

• Understand that no particular pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, or postpartum outcome is guaranteed;

• Understand that you are responsible for your own healthcare decisions and for seeking appropriate professional care;

• Agree to the scheduling, cancellation, payment, and other terms outlined in this agreement.
