Informed choices for an empowered birth

Plan it.

A Birth Map Session helps you create a clear, personalized birth plan rooted in your values, your body, and your vision for birth. As a seasoned Birth Doula, I guide you through your options so you can approach labor with confidence, calm, and clarity.

Build it.

In this session, you’ll spend 60-90 minutes exploring your options, learning about your rights, and asking any questions you have. After our session, you’ll receive your birth plan in an easy to read printable pdf document.

Preparation starts here

Birth is a living, unfolding experience. It has rhythms, surprises, and moments no one can fully script. That’s a part of its power! While we can’t predict every turn your birth may take, going in without any plan or understanding of your options can leave you feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or swept along by decisions you didn’t feel truly prepared for.

A birth map isn’t about forcing your birth to follow a perfect plan. It’s about creating a foundation of clarity, communication, and self trust so you can move through the unexpected with grounded confidence.

Your birth plan is your guide, not a script, that helps you navigate any scenario with more confidence, calm, and connection to your intentions.

Frequently asked questions

  • This session is for pregnant people (partners are welcome as well) who want to feel informed, confident, and supported as they prepare for birth. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, and whether this is your first baby or fifth, this session meets you where you are. This is especially helpful if you feel overwhelmed by your options, want to learn about your rights in the birth space, and prefer personalized guidance rather than a one size fits all class.

  • This session is helpful at any stage of pregnancy. If you’re early in pregnancy, we can focus on education and planning ahead. If you’re later in your pregnancy, we’ll focus on clarity, confidence, and preparing for real life scenarios. This session can also help you feel more confident and prepared during prenatal visits with your provider. Understanding your options, rights, and priorities can make it easier to ask questions, advocate for yourself, and have more collaborative, informed conversations throughout the remainder of your care.

  • A childbirth education course is typically a group setting, often following a set curriculum over several sessions. A Birth Map session is personalized and one on one. Rather than covering everything broadly, we focus specifically on you, your questions, your values, your provider, and your birth setting.
