Meet the face behind The Guiding Grove
Hi, I’m Megan, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a Duluth based Birth, Bereavement, and Endometriosis Doula, perinatal support professional, and most importantly, a momma to two amazing little humans. My path into this work is deeply woven with my own story of pain, healing, and fulfilling my lifelong dream of becoming a mother.
My journey began in 2021, when years of unexplained pain finally led me to my endometriosis diagnosis. That experience opened my eyes to the gaps in support for those living with chronic pain and reproductive health challenges. It also planted the first seeds of the compassionate, rounded care that I now bring to my clients.
Shortly after my endometriosis surgery, I stepped fully into birth work, serving families in the Twin Cities as a Doula for four years. Supporting births, walking families through postpartum, and witnessing the power of informed, intuitive care confirmed that this was the work I was meant to do.
Motherhood deepened that calling even further.
My journey to motherhood included infertility, foster care, and my own home birth in early 2025. After giving birth, I experienced postpartum complications that led to complex trauma, coupled with postpartum anxiety. That season shook me, slowed me down, and further shaped how I show up in this work.
During my time away from birth work after the birth of my daughter, I knew I wanted to build something that reflected everything I had learned through my journey.
The Guiding Grove grew slowly and intentionally, becoming a space rooted in softness, connection, and trauma informed care. It’s a reflection of the support I once needed, and a community resource for individuals who are looking for validation, grounding, and guidance during some of the most vulnerable seasons in life.
Today, through The Guiding Grove, I support people through every layer of the reproductive journey, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, trauma, chronic pain, infertility, and the sacred transition into parenthood. Every story is unique. Every path deserves to be honored. And it’s my greatest privilege to walk alongside people as they reclaim their voice, deepen their intuition, and find safety and strength in their own becoming.
